Samsung Monitor Charges Your Phone Wirelessly

South Korean electronics giant Samsung is taking PC monitors where they have never gone before. The SE370 is the industryEUs first monitor with built-in wireless charging capabilities for mobile devices. That means you donEUt have to plug your smartphone into the computer -- or the wall -- to get a full bar.

The SE370 comes in two sizes -- 23.6 inches and 27 inches -- but both models have one thing in common: a de-cluttering factor that could turn heads. The monitors do away with the cables and ports youEUd need to charge your mobile phone or tablet.

Mobile Cord Cutting Made Possible

Although Samsung is known for pushing its popular Android-powered mobile devices, the SE370 monitor works with just about any brand of mobile device. The only requirement is the device has to tote the Qi wireless charging standard the Wireless Power Consortium developed -- and most modern phones do.

HereEUs how it works: The SE370 monitor consolidates the multiple charging ports found in other displays with a circular wireless charging area built right into the monitorEUs stand. All you have to do is put your device on the standEUs charging area to initiate automatic charging. An LED light confirms the device is charging.
