Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 Offers Slew of New Features

Redmond today announced new capabilities planned for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016. Microsoft is billing the next release of its customer engagement solution as the most comprehensive upgrade ever, with advances in mobility, service, intelligence and productivity.

Microsoft is pressing the productivity button as hard as it can, promising a EUsimple and seamlessEU experience across the Dynamics CRM app and productivity apps like Excel, OneDrive for Business, e-mail, as well as stronger data and analytics and an better overall mobile experience.

EUEvery time an employee needs to switch between a program or application, their productivity decreases by 40 percent,EU Angela Bandlow, senior director of product marketing at Microsoft, told us. EUDynamics CRM 2016 eliminates distractions and allows employees to put more focus on their customers, giving them a foot up on the competition.EU

Delve Functionality

Where did Bandlow get her stats? Straight from the Journal of Experimental Psychology. Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 is built with a design principle that lets organizations manage customer-facing activities in one area to combat productivity drains.

For example, Dynamics CRM has built in a better Excel experience that includes new templates for tasks, functions and scenarios. That paves the way for a user to toggle between functions instead of wasting time exporting them -- and still tap into a familiar analysis.

The next version also introduces Delve functionality. Delve, which is powered by Office Graph, helps users increase productivity by revealing content that lets salespeople find information -- such as popular sales presentations and proposals -- that could help them land accounts.
